Fairbottom Branch, November 2009
November 2009's working party saw more clearance of trees growing in the bed of the Fairbottom Branch by volunteers from WRG North West and Hollinwood Canal Society.
Okay - who measured this bridge?
Somewhere there's a team of volunteers removing tree growth from the canal bed.
Small trees have been cut down over a huge area of the canal bed. The stumps will be removed at a later date.
Some folks are hard at work while others are getting covered in mud. Ju, on the left, is wearing a red tee shirt!
